La iniciativa tiene por objeto indicar que las bebidas electrolíticas orales envasadas para su venta al público estarán sujetas al etiquetado frontal de advertencia cuando excedan los límites de azúcares añadidos. Entre lo propuesto destaca indicar que las bebidas electrolíticas orales envasadas para su venta al público estarán sujetas al etiquetado frontal de advertencia previsto en la NOM-051-SCFI/SSA1, cuando excedan los límites de azúcares añadidos, edulcorantes u otros nutrimentos críticos que determine la normatividad aplicable, cualquiera que sea su clasificación o registro sanitario.
